UPDATE: See below for my review, pics, and swatch! Some how it missed my radar that there was going to be an IT Cosmetics TSV this month on QVC! #livingunderarockagain I really must be busy or something. So when I saw on Instagram and QVC that you could order it a couple of days early I knew I had to share. Saturday, January 14, 2017- The New Year New Confidence In Your Skin TSV (287731) is $79.96 + free shipping (yay) with 4 optional easy pay and optional Auto Delivery ( A294429) and will include 4 items: 0.63-oz Confidence in a Compact SPF 50, 2-fl oz Confidence in Cream Moisturizer, and 0.5-fl oz Bye Bye Under Eye Cream and the Heavenly Skin Brush.
I did not order the last TSV from IT Cosmetics because I had a lot of the items already but all of these items will be new to me so I’m going for it. Do I need a new eye cream? No. Do I need a new moisturizer? No. I just bought a $60 moisturizer at Sephora right after Christmas that I am adoring. But I really want to try out that new foundation! The moisturizer gets good reviews so I’m happy to try it out too. What the heck. #yolo I have tried a sample of the eye cream but I didn’t want to pay $50 for the full size at the time. Also the brush- you absolutely can’t go wrong with any brushes from IT Cosmetics. I’m also hoping some other items will be on easy pay or a special value on Saturday when this is a TSV. UPDATE: ALL BEAUTY IS ON 4 EASY PAYS TODAY 1/14/17. (easy pay works when you order with any kind of credit card- select the easy pay option and it splits your order (tax and shipping included) in to 4 payment over 4 months- no interest- I use this a lot especially if i’m ordering several items I want to try because there’s also a no questions asked 30 day return policy) I LOVE LOVE LOVE these CC lip glosses and have already used all mine up- perfect colors, perfectly moisturizing, and perfectly not sticky. There’s also this new little lip set that includes the Je Ne Sais Quoi lip treatment and lip gloss soft stain- the stain has 50% less pink stain than the original, making more soft and not as bright/vivid. I have also been wanting to try the Superhero Mascara, and I have been eyeing the Je Ne Sais Quoi Palette that came out around the holidays- this one is the same price plus a $50 brush, the fact that I have so many of the items in this palette full sized has kept me from buying it- although I do not have that exact blush or highlight. I LOVE the Sunshine in a Compact Matte Bronzer right now- I thought it would be so orange from the look in the pan but it is an awesome natural bronze on the face and it blends so effortlessly with no patches or skipping. You also can’t go wrong with any of the blushes as well- or if you want to try the bronzer, blush, highlight and by bye pores and an awesome brush- save yourself some money and get the Je Ne Sais Quoi Palette! So are you interested in this TSV? I have many IT Cosmetics products that I recommend, I literally could go on and on! They are always good quality, fragrance free, and never break me out.
UPDATE: Reviews and Swatch of the Confidence in a Compact in Light: I have been using this compact for about a week- since I received it. Shade: The shade is pretty close for me- a hair dark so I use bronzer on my neck to even everything out. The fair definitely would have been too light.I will say that this shade seems a little lighter than the light shade in the CC Cream and more like the light shade in the CC Veil Cushion compact. I find the light in the CC Cream to run very dark for a “light” shade of foundation. Application: I have tried several ways to apply- first with the brush it came with – this gave very light coverage. I have been liking this applied with either a much denser brush such as an Artis brush or Real Techniques Expert Face Brush OR a Beautyblender Sponge- these are my preferred methods of application or get an even medium coverage. Formula Comparison: I feel like this formula falls between the Your Skin but Better CC Cream and the CC Veil that is a cushion foundation. This is not as full coverage or long lasting as the CC Cream, but has more coverage and lasts longer than the CC Veil Cushion. It will all depend on you what you like in a foundation. I find that upon application this foundation feels a little tacky and can feel a little greasy by the end of the day if is not set with powder or spray. I set this with either celebration illumination powder foundation or the bye bye pores powder- both from IT cosmetics. When set- this foundation lasts mostly all day before starting to break down around my nose area etc. Pros: spf 5o, good coverage (for me), portable, no fragrance, doesn’t break me out!
You can see my reviews of some more IT Cosmetics here:
Bye Bye Makeup Remover– love this and am still using my original one nightly, removes all my makeup and doesn’t strip my skin now that it’s winters.
IT Cosmetics CC Cream SPF 50– mini review and swatches of fair, light, and medium at the bottom of the post. I am still using this into winter for my most flawless face with the Celebration Illumination Powder Foundation on top to set.
