LORAC is launching two new value sets to go along with their Holiday Rose & Revelry theme. LORAC posted on snapchat that these would be available on their website Monday 10/17/16. Good news- both sets are under $40! Both sets include items already in their line, but they are value sets, so you are getting the bundle at a cheaper price than if you bought all the items separately. It’s a great opportunity to gift these items or get these items if you don’t already have them. Let’s take a look at both:
Rose & Revelry PRO Matte Set- $38 (top two pictures): This set looks like it has four items including the Pro Matte Palette ($28), an Alter Ego Lipstick ($17), an Alter Ego Gloss ($16), and a Pro Liquid Eyeliner in Black ($23). This set would retail for $84 if you bought them separately from loraccosmetics.com or ulta.com
Rose and Revelry Unzipped Set- $35 (bottom two pictures): This set look like it has three items including the LORAC Unzipped Palette ($42), an Alter Ego Lipstick ($17), and an Alter Ego Gloss ($16). This set would retail for $75 if items were purchased separately.
I am most excited for the Unzipped Set because I have been stalking this LORAC palette for months, and the whole set is cheaper than the palette! The reviews on this palette are always good and from what I have read it has 10 neutral shadows with a rose gold undertone and mostly fall into the cool tone category. This palette has not been a priority for me to purchase, but it’s one I have had in the back of my mind and is not limited edition. I’m happy to see it included in a set at a great value price. I like that the lipsticks look neutral as well as the eye palettes. Either one of these sets would be a great gift for a someone who loves makeup and they don’t break the bank at under $40! Happy Shopping!
I am updating with my my own pictures of the LORAC Unzipped Set as well as the requested swatches of the lip products Stylist lipstick and Goddess lip gloss! I find both of these lip products to be quality and perfect colors for Fall and Winter. Stylist lipstick is a mauve bordering on a light berry. I has a satin finish so it’s not quite matte and not quite glossy. This lipstick is also quite pigmented and has great staying power. The Goddess gloss is an interesting color- it’s a light purple/lavender mauve shade. I was not sure about this color at all when I got a sample from Ulta a month or two ago, but it’s actually strangely flattering and a great lipstick topper! The texture of the gloss is good as well- creamy, no glitter, not sticky or goopy, semi sheer. Both are also full size! This gloss is so nice I’m thinking about getting the holiday set that has 6 full size glosses in it for $25- LORAC Happy Hour Hues Alter Ego Lip Gloss Set!
