Yes it is October, but before it’s half way through (like in 4 days!), I wanted to share my favorites from September! Now I still love my Tarte Shape Tape and my CoverGirl Clean Matte BB, but there are a couple of other things that I have used quite a bit this month. Some things are new and some are rediscovered so let’s get into it!

I did a post near the beginning of September on Beautycounter at Target and I had ordered a lipgloss and cream blush set called the Color Story Set for $20 at that time. I have really enjoyed this set! This set included a lipgloss in Peony and a cream blush in Hibiscus. The lipgloss is sheer but very moisturizing so I appreciated that because for some reason in September my lips freak out and get a little chapped with the slight weather change. This lipgloss feels a little thick on but is very hydrating and is a great topper as it has little to no color. The cream blush is awesome, it is pigmented and is easily blend able. This blush gives a perfect peachy, corally, pink to the cheeks and is not greasy. It has pretty good staying power too! This is still in stock online (lots of stuff from the line has sold out).

I have also been reaching for this little Kat Von D Studded Lip Kiss in Lovecraft from the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip, it’s such a pretty matte neutral mauve! #mattenotdry I will definitely buy the full size of this when Sephora has their VIB sale in a month or so! I picked up this Smashbox Always Sharp Eyeliner Kohl in Violetta, which a dark plum, during the 21 days of Beauty event at Ulta. I already new I loved the navy one (click here for swatch of the navy) so I wanted to pick up more colors while Ulta had them for $10. These really are my favorite liners. They are sharp every time, they are dark and pigmented, and the formula is good with great staying power and no smearing or flaking. I am really loving this color for fall with berry, plum, or neutral eyes.

The Becca Rose Quartz Shimmering Skin Perfector is quickly becoming one of my favorite highlighters for my fair skin. It has such a beautiful icy pink finish (click here for review and swatch) without looking unnatural. I am loving Becca’s highlighters and blushes. It’s honestly hard to pick my favorite and I think I have almost every color now except for pearl and the new limited edition bronzed amber. Everything Becca does in terms of blushes and highlighters is spot on. Whether it’s the highlighter, blush, or luminous blush- everything is pigmented with no glitter or sparkle, just a beautiful shimmer/glow. I highly recommend the investment in at least one highlighter and one blush! I recently ordered the Afterglow Palette, which has 3 highlighters and 2 blushes, and it’s a great way to try both products- $39.50 at! (sold out now but comes back in stock) Another way to try the blushes is the new Blushed With Light palette which as three blushes for $34.

Last but not least is my rediscovery of the ever famous, used to be hard to get a hold of – Bioderma Sensibio H2O. Now it’s easy to get a hold of at beautylish! I have had the bottle in the picture for 2 years because it was really hard to get in the U.S.  I bought this bottle on my trip to Toronto, Canada and have been nursing it ever since.  It’s a great micellar/cleansing water and has no oily finish. You can use it for a multitude of things including taking off eye makeup at night, re-doing an eye look, and using it to cleanse your face in the morning to prep it for moisturizer and makeup.

This wraps up September! I have a feeling with all the new Holiday releases coming out that October’s list will be a lot longer 😉
